Mediterranean with mild winters and warm summers. Natural fresh water
sources are very meager so large fresh water catchments (concrete or
natural rock) collect rain water. Gibraltar has a strategic location
on the Strait of Gibraltar that links the Atlantic Ocean with the
Mediterranean Sea.
